Disclaimer: Pokémon is not mine. It belongs to whoever made it or published it.All the pictures here are not also mine. They belong to the artists where I copied these pics from. Note:For those who already know this subject, I'm not only going to mention this ship. My intention is to enumerate the popular shippings.
Pokémon SHIPPINGS
(They are only in pokemon forms, it doesn't mean that when its POKEMON they have to be a pokemon...) (P.S: Can you guess who are the characters that have been changed into pokemons?)
In the Pokemon World, there are many things that are under close inspection of the fans. One of them is shippings. It is about the pairings that fans think have a romantic relationship. There are many, many, many recognized ships(pairings). FYI, there are actually more than 6000 ships. I know that's a lot. But only 5% of it is regularly mentioned or talked about. So, that's about 300 ships. I will only say some ships that have been made quite popular because of the voice of the fans. The numbering is according to what ship came first before the others.
Shippings: (If the blog is mixed up, I recommend following this order. You could use the labels for quick viewing of these) 1) Pokeshipping 2) Advanceshipping 3) Contestshipping 4) Abilityshipping 5) Pearlshipping 6) Penguinshipping 7) Twinleafshipping
NOTE: If you want to ask me something, say it to me or better yet, just post it in the comments section. If you asked something, I'll try to do it ASAP... (E.g: If you want to see more ships, then I can put more and probably more posts about it...)
Warning: As hints and and evidence for ships are mostly speculations, This page may contain Point Of View.
Pokéshipping
One of the few names given to the pairing of Ash and Misty, supported by many fans of the Pokémon anime. Actually, it was the most popular ship in the early years of Pokémon.(Of course it was, for there were only very few ships before)But even though this was made several years ago, it still have many followers behind it.
Personal Message: Well, seeing them as a couple is not quite bad. Its just that, they always seem to fight before and I only see few signs of obvious conveyance of feelings. Generally, I'm an all-type heterosexual shipper.(actually, others make ships out of pairings of two boys or girls, which I find disgusting. So I said 'heterosexual')This means that I support practically every ship under this category. I won't rant. But this ship for me is just so-so/average...
EVIDENCES Misty's Hints: EP 003:Ash Catches a Pokémon
Ash, willing to continue his journey alone, is followed by Misty. Upon noticing her pursuing him in ViridianForest, Ash puts her on the spot and asks her, "Why are you still following me?" Misty sweatdrops and unconvincingly stutters back, "M...My bike! I'm holding you responsible for my bike!" in an insincere manner.
Why she is following him is made apparent near the end of the episode where she says, "I've never known anyone like him. He really does love Pokémon." She does so in body language befitting that of an infatuated girl. Also, in her statement, it is pretty much implied that she has some sort of interest in knowing Ash, who, at this point, is someone she barely knows. Furthermore, in this and the next episode, Misty seems very eager to make physical (if not courtly) contact with Ash.
EP 023: The Tower Of Terror
At the beginning of the episode, Ash, Brock and Misty are walking through the mist on their way to LavenderTown and Brock says they should probably hold hands. Ash and Misty eagerly reply, "Okay!" The two of them hold hands and continue walking, but Brock, who came up with the idea mistook Pikachu's tail for Ash's hand; Only Ash and Misty are holding hands. Also, when Brock grabs Pikachu's tail because he can't see through the mist, Pikachu fires an electric attack out of fear and Misty grabs onto Ash.
Later, when Misty thought that Ash had died, she is driven to almost tears, but is interrupted by Ash who comes back to life and wipes her nose and blushes.
EP 059: Volcanic Panic
One of the clearest examples to fans of Misty's growing feelings towards Ash in the Indigo League, would be at the fact that she completely forgot about her bike being destroyed by Ash, being the supposed only reason for her traveling with him.
EP 083: Poké Ball Peril
Near the end of the episode, with Brock having
left Ash and Misty to travel alone, James says, "I think we may have captured a pair of romantic creatures in our little cage," after which Jessie swoons and Meowth blurts out, "They're lovebirds!" Ash and Misty deny it all.
The idea of Ash and Misty as a couple becomes a sub-theme throughout the subsequent Orange League Season, culminating into events in the 2nd movie.
EP 093: Navel Maneuvers
Danny, the Navel Island Gym Leader, quickly picks up on the nature of Ash and Misty's relationship during one of their arguments and says, "I can see the two of you are pretty close." After Misty asks
what he meant by that, he replied, "What's that saying? 'You always hurt the one you love..."
EP 100: Where Art Thou, Pokémon
After the Ralph's Nidoran♂ (Tony) and Emily's Nidoran♀ (Maria) kiss and evolve, Tracey comments about whether the battle or the kiss made them evolve. The idea of kissing embarrasses Misty and provokes Ash to ask the question, "Do people change when they get kissed?" after which Misty answers to him, "Guess we'll have to find out ourselves..." Earlier in the episode, Tracey compared the interaction between the Nidoran's trainers to the relationship between Misty and Ash (although both vehemently deny it).
EP 103: Misty Meets Her Match
This entire episode alone serves as conclusive evidence that Misty not only likes Ash but possibly has developed a case of young love for him. Rudy, the Trovita Island Gym Leader, has a case of "love at first sight" with Misty after she saves his sister, Mahri. After several advances from Rudy, Misty agrees to what is essentially an impromptu date with Rudy, leaving Ash and Tracey to themselves.
According to accounts of the original Japanese version, during the dance after the date, Rudy not only asked Misty to stay on the island, but to marry him. What is significant here is that Misty was actually considering his proposal, evidenced by the fact that she didn't refuse him outright. Throughout Ash's gym battle with Rudy, Misty is clearly torn between deciding which boy meant more to her, finally rooting for Ash in the end as Squirtle is hit by a Thunderbolt from Rudy's Starmie. Rudy, in shock mutters, "She wants him."
EP 170: A Better Pill to Swallow
This entire episode alone serves as conclusive evidence that Misty not only likes Ash but possibly has developed a case of young love for him. Rudy, the Trovita Island Gym Leader, has a case of "love at first sight" with Misty after she saves his sister, Mahri. After several advances from Rudy, Misty agrees to what is essentially an impromptu date with Rudy, leaving Ash and Tracey to themselves.

Throughout Ash's gym battle with Rudy, Misty is clearly torn between deciding which boy meant more to her, finally rooting for Ash in the end as Squirtle is hit by a Thunderbolt from Rudy's Starmie. Rudy, in shock mutters, "She wants him."
EP 185: The Light Fantastic
When Misty introduces Ash to Nurse Joy, Joy quickly exclaims, "What a little cutie!" referring to Pikachu on Ash's head. But Misty and Brock mistakenly think she's referring to Ash. Brock is left completely shocked, but Misty not only gets shocked, but quickly develops the same jealous expression she displayed when Melody flirted with Ash.
EP 188: Spring Fever
On this and many other occasions in the series, when Ash falls into Team Rocket's trap Misty (off camera) runs toward Ash and passionately grabs his arm to get him back to safety.
EP 198: The Heartbreak of Brock
After Temacu expresses her thoughts about marriage to Brock, Misty says to Ash, "You and I will be married someday too." And Ash nods his hea
d without realizing what s
he had just said, and then shouts "WHOOA?" She could have easily meant that they would be married someday to different people, not necessarily to each other, but when Ash yelled out in shock Misty looked over at him with a shocked face that looked like she didn't mean to say that out loud.
While giving a pep talk to Brock about pursuing a possible relationship with Temacu, Misty says, "Take it from me, it's a lot easier to like someone who likes you than to like someone who doesn't." Brock then asks her, "How do you know?" after which Misty gasps, blushes, then coyly replies "Well that's...what I've heard..."
EP 267: Love, Pokémon Style
When Macy first invites Ash out to lunch, Misty quickly cuts in between the two and comments that Ash is "booked". Later in the same scene, Macy questions Misty's right to interrupt in Ash's personal affairs when she's not his girlfriend. Misty looks quite unimpressed as Macy continues to flirt with Ash.
EP 273: Gotta Catch Ya Later
The departure of Misty from the group is a very
emotional affair. After all is said and done, Misty says to herself, "Well, Ash Ketchum, finally, I know how you feel about me".
In this episode, Misty gives Ash her handkerchief. Apparently, in Japan that means that a girl cares for a boy.
Misty got her own good-bye song (which completely left Brock out). Ash was pretty clueless about how upset Misty was when they found out she had to leave, but when they actually parted, he did say that she’s his best friend, an
d cried when they left.
Ash's Hints:
EP 018: Beauty and the Beach
When Misty shows up, holding a beach ball along with her bathing suit on, Ash comments on how Misty looks like a girl for once. Later, when Moe yells at the group, Ash quickly hides behind Misty and holds her by the shoulders.
EP 020: Ghost of Maiden's Peak
Ash does a double take when Misty appears with her hair down and dressed in a formal kimono. Upon seeing her, the camera switches to his perspective, the bubbly background usually associated with passionate moments is used, romantic harp strings are played, and Misty's surprised facial expression clearly shows she is being looked at with interest. Also, the entire theme of the episode was romance-oriented, so it's only logical to assum
e this scene between Ash and Misty is as well.
EP 052: Princess vs. Princess
Ash, thinking Misty is entering the Princess Festival Contest to take a picture with the movie star host, gets a little jealous, groaning with his arms crossed, "You must really want that picture with Fiorello...". Surprisingly, Misty reassures him she's only doing it for the doll set. Ash, whether he's aware of it or not, feels threatened by the presence of another male in Misty's life. Also, when Misty was dressed in a kimono during the contest, Ash stared at her and said, "Ohhh...", but so did Brock.
EP 093: Navel Maneuvers
Climbing NavelIsland's central mountain, Misty tells Danny the gym leader to be extra careful. Seeing how much concern Misty is giving to Danny, Ash with the same jealous expression yells, "What's she so worried about him for?!". He's distracted so much by Misty's little crush on Danny that he loses his concentration and falls down the mountain a bit. Much like his behavior in "Princess vs. Princess", another male getting Misty's attention seems to bother him. When Danny states, "What do they say, you always hurt the one you love?" Misty and Ash become extremely embarrassed. As Danny walks off, Misty runs up to him and says, "Oh, you've got it all wrong. I'd never get involved with a little kid like him. I prefer the more mature, intellectual type." Ash seems very disappointed after hearing that.
EP 103: Misty Meets her Match
Rudy moves in to court Misty after she helps rescue his younger sister, Mahri. Ash is clearly put out by Rudy's behavior, and jealous when Misty is flattered by the attention. When Rudy compliments Misty about her beautiful eyes during his attack test, Ash gets distracted and accidentally calls Charizard. Rudy invites Misty to dinner, and Ash is shocked when she accepts and appears unhappy when she leaves. Later on, during the battle against Ash, Rudy looks at Misty and says "I dedicate this match the girl who saved my sister and stole my heart." Ash doesn't seem very happy and sarcastically replies, "That's real nice, but the victory is gonna be mine!" He gets a little antagonized with Misty when she tells him to beat Rudy, telling her he's not stupid, as if her recent behavior had upset and unsettled him.
After Rudy presents Ash with his badge, he gives Misty some flowers, accepting her decision to stay with Ash. More importantly, he says, "I hope you know you're a very lucky guy, Ash." Ash cluelessly replies, "Lucky? What do you mean?" Rudy laughs and says, "You'll see some day." Ash just frowns in confusion. This incident supports the theory that Ash loves Misty, but he doesn't quite realize it yet. This is one of the stronger hints given that Misty and Ash may someday end up together.
EP 216: Dueling Heroes
Prior to Misty's battle, Ash wakes up to find Misty staring out the window. They have a little talk and after that, Ash continues to gaze at Misty silently.
Brock comments about how Misty's battling style reminds him so much of Ash. Furthermore, Ash and Misty share similar victory poses when they win their round.
EP 410/ AG(Advanced Generation series) 133
When Max informs everyone that the nearest Battle Frontier facility is near CeruleanCity, Ash is pleased that Misty is able to travel with him and the group for a while.
EP 463/ AG 187
Ash is feeling down about losing but regains his confidence back when he receives gifts from his mother and his friends. He especially shows off Misty's special lure to Pikachu with a big smile on his face.
EP 502/ DP(Diamond & Pearl series) 034
When Ash and the others are fishing, Ash uses the special lure Misty made for him. Dawn asks if she could use it, but Ash refuses, causing them both to argue. While they are distracted, a Buizel comes and takes their lures, causing Ash to panic. He is determined to get the lure back, and once it is returned, he seems very happy and relieved.
(I'm daring you to check all of these if its true... Hehehehehe.....)
TRIVIAS:
-The both of them have held hands a couple of times in the series and when they do, the camera focuses on their hands for a moment.
-They have battled against each other twice for the ownership of a Pokémon: Togepi and Totodile.
-The two have shared similar victory poses in the series. Where imitation is known to be the ultimate form of flattery.
-Misty is the only female companion of Ash who is not a Coordinator, as she is a Gym Leader who specializes in Water-type Pokémon. Like Brock, she has also acted as Ash's coach when she was still traveling with the group.
-Ash's Pikachu took a liking to Misty very early in the show. Professor Oak and other characters have stated that Pokémon reflect the feelings of their Trainers.
NOTE: If you want to ask me something, just say it to me. Or better yet, just post it in the comments section and I'll get it done ASAP. (E.g: If you want to see more pictures of them together, [Yes, I got like a mother lode of it.] then I can give you or post more pictures...)
Warning: As hints and evidence for ships are mostly speculation, this may contain Point Of View.
Advanceshipping
It is the belief that Ash and May are a couple in the animé. This Ship is one of the most popular ship along with Pokéshipping, Contestshipping, and Pearlshipping. Other names for this ship is
MaSh(MAy & aSH) and in Japan, they call it SatoHaru.
Personal Message: As soon as there is another new companion that will join Ash, I knew they will make a ship for them. Its like the main guy/main girl pairing. Pretty typical, I guess. But anyways, they do have more similarities and Ash has matured more here than before in Kanto when he was with Misty.(Proof: there is one episode where Ash tried to console May for something. I think its over a lost contest.) It's one of the first few ships I knew first. (Hope that makes sense...)
EVIDENCE: Hoenn League saga
EP 277/AG(Advance Generation)001:Get the Show on the Road
After Ash destroys May's bicycle accidentally, she angrily goes to tell him off while he is resting in the PokémonCenter. As she quietly opens the door, she watches Ash and Pikachu resting contently together, and she forgives him without telling him. Later on, May guilts Ash into letting her travel with him. Once he says she could come along, May strikes a triumphant pose by the camera and yells, "YES!" to show her enthusiasm to the audience. This coupled with the previous scene where she secretly spies on him and forgives him for his kindness with Pikachu, shows that May might be taking a liking toward him.
EP 278/AG 002:A Ruin with a View
Ash decides to become May's mentor for the very first time, teaching her how to capture and battle with Pokémon.
EP 279/AG 003:There's no Place like Hoenn
When Team Rocket steals May's Torchic, she falls to her knees in despair. Seeing this, Ash, crouches down next to her, telling her not to worry and promising that he will get her Torchic back for her.
EP 293/AG 017:Stairway to Devon
When Ash and May discover that a Team Aqua intruder is in the building and Max could be in potential danger, she clasps her hands and asks Ash for reassurance and support. Once Ash comforts her, she is relieved. This is the first of many scenes where May continually looks toward Ash for support and reassurance, further expanding on the mentor/student dynamic.
EP 296/AG 020:Brave the Wave
On DewfordIsland, May decides to strip into a bikini right on the beach. However, instead of just running down to the shore to take a swim, she purposely poses in her bikini in front of Ash and her brother and asks what they think. Ash appears to be embarrassed by the situation.
EP 311/AG 035:Win, Lose or Drew!
After witnessing May lose her first Pokémon Contest, Ash takes the blame for her loss. He says, "It’s my fault. I wish I’d spent more time with May, teaching her." Later, May is crying backstage as Ash tries unsuccessfully to cheer her up.
EP 340/AG 064:True Blue Swablu!
When May wants to stay and help Swablu's injuries get better, Ash generously tells her, "You're going to take any time you need to help your buddy out," even though he really wanted to get going to the Fortree Gym.
EP 343/AG 067:Go Go Ludicolo
When confronted by Max whether she wants Ash to win over her Dad, Norman of the Petalburg Gym, May gives flustered responses. While Max is quick to make up his mind and cheer for his father, May on the other hand sides with Ash. Max yells, "What, how can you want Ash to win over our Dad?" to which May blushes nervously and says, "Well I want Dad to win... but I don't want Ash to lose!"
May's choice was made up from the beginning to cheer for Ash over her father, and each time Max confronts her about it, she blushes nervously and doesn't want to give him a clear answer.
EP 348/AG 072:The Bicker The Better
Considered to be the first episode where AdvanceShipping was made completely
blatant to the audience, Ash and May are confronted by Oscar and Andi, a young couple who are obsessed with the idea of love and romance.
When Oscar and Andi call Ash and May a "happy couple," the two of them quickly deny it and turn their backs to one another, crossing their arms. Ash says sarcastically, "That's a laugh!" and May adds, "Hardy har har!" Oscar and Andi do not stop there, and continue to call them a couple. Ash and May scream, "We're not a couple!" in unison, with the same body language, followed by, "And we're not happy either!" in the same tone in which Oscar and Andi state that they 'both answered together' further causing tensions between the two.
As the episode pours on, Ash and May continue to argue and bicker back and forth, presumably to get their minds off the idea of being called a couple by Oscar and Andi. After a tag battle against Jessie and James at the end, Ash and May sincerely forgive each other for their argument, and deeply apologize as they stare at each other while the sunset closes behind them.
EP 349/AG 073:Grass Hysteria
When May is lost in the forbidden land of the Grass Pokémon, Ash once again steps in to save her. After his Tarzan-esque entrance to save May from the fierce and threatening Grass Pokémon that were about to attack her, he grabs her by the hand and runs with her to clear a path to safety. Ash and May continue to hold hands as they are running away from the menacing Pokémon, a rare sight between them.
EP 350/AG 074:Hokey Poké Balls
This episode further brings up the parallelism between Ash and May, by having
their two Bulbasaur meet each other. However, the two Bulbasaur show signs of liking one another, a ship that is called VineShipping. Throughout the episode, May makes several comments about how their Bulbasaur are such a great team, and how they are, "Two peas in a Poképod." Before Ash sends Bulbasaur back to Professor Oak, it pats May's Bulbasaur on the head sweetly with its vine, saying goodbye. May's Bulbasaur is impressed as Ash's Bulbasaur is sent back. Vineshipping is one of the parallels that is used to push Advanceshipping, as canon characters such as Professor Oak and Brock have said in the past that Pokémon represent the feelings of their trainers, and when two Pokémon fall in love, there is a good chance the trainers will too. While the Bulbasaur haven't fallen in love with each other yet, it is the first step in their parallel romance.
EP 374/AG 098:The Scuffle of Legends
When Ash is about to hop on top of Dragonite and go with Lance to save Pikachu from its bonding with the Blue Orb and Groudon, May approaches Ash and says, "Don't do anything crazy Ash," in a sweet and very concerned tone.
EP 382/AG 105:Once in a Mawile
In another love-themed episode, Ash is confused about the concept of love. May teases him and says, "Spoken like a maaaaaan," in the dub while she says, "And he doesn't get it," in the original Japanese. As the episode continues, Ash says, "No sense in going out of your way just to make somebody like you," in which May responds, "And he still acts like a man," in the dub while in the raw, "And he reeeaaaally doesn't get it." This is the second episode where May teases Ash about love.
EP 385/AG 108:Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snorunt
May holds onto Ash's hat while he is lost with Snorunt in a blizzard, and continues to during the entire search, frantically hoping to find him again. Once they meet up again, she says, "I believe this is yours!" and kindly hands Ash back his hat.
EP 391/AG 114:Date Expectations
In the middle of the episode, Ash and May are separated from the group. May does her expedition routine and thinks about the concept of being lost with Ash in the woods forever. This idea causes her to have little red blushes on her cheeks. During the last act of the episode, May misses her chance to catch the ferry to her final Contest. In despair, she starts to cry. Sensing her pain, Ash puts his hands on her shoulders and stares at her deeply in the eyes, giving her the courage to go on while he takes care of her little brother. This is the first time in the series that Ash had ever put his hands on a girl in a serious and compassionate manner.
Battle Frontier Saga
EP 410/AG 133:The Right Place and the Right Mime
May decides that she wants to continue traveling with Ash after Hoenn ends, which compels her to travel from the Hoenn region on her own to meet up with Ash in PalletTown. This was before she found out there were Contests in Kanto, so she decided that she wanted to be by Ash's side even if it meant not continuing her Coordinator dream for the time being.
EP 421/AG 144:A Hurdle for Squirtle
When May steps on the Contest Stage, Ash is the only one (of the three) that cheers, saying, "Let's go May! All right!"
This is also reflected in all of May's other Contests, where Ash always seems to be emotionally involved and always helping May when she is in a dilemma by shouting helpful advice to her.
EP 423/AG 146:Fear Factor Phony!
When May hears sounds of scary Ghost Pokémon, she frantically goes to Ash an
d tries to wake him up in his sleeping bag. She presses her hands desperately against his chest to wake him up, yet she didn't do the same for Brock, who could have come to her aid just as easily. A further example of May choosing Ash over anyone else when she is in fear or doubt.
EP 468/ AG 192:Home is Where the Start Is
At the beginning, when there is only one ribbon, and they can't decide who to give the rib
bon to, May looks at Ash, and Ash looks at May, and they nod at each other, and then Ash tells Sceptile to Leaf Blade the ribbon in half. This proves that sometimes Ash and May do not need to speak to each other to know what the other is thinking because they share such a close bond. Also, in Mean With Envy!, Erica and Joshua were seen in a fantasy holding a split ribbon while Vivian was referring to a couple winning a Contest. Ash and May repeated their actions when they won.
Diamond and Pearl saga
EP 544/DP(Diamond & Pearl)076:A Full Course Tag Battle!
May joins up with Ash, Brock, and Dawn in Sinnoh. Later that day, in the evening, Ash and May both pull out their halves of the ribbon that they tied for, and hold the pieces together. May also says how the ribbon reminds her of Ash's encouragement, and how it has saved her numerous times in Johto.
EP 547/DP 079:Strategy with a Smile!
Before May leaves to return to Johto, she and the rest of the group share goodbyes. She and Ash speak last, each telling the other to do their best in their respective paths. It is only when May is speaking with Ash (despite the fact she was exchanging farewells with everyone) that she holds her heart. Further indication is that when both May and Ash say their goodbyes, each of their eyes glimmer. In the anime, when a character's eyes glimmer it represents a type of passion.
Movies
Movie #8:Jirachi: Wish Maker
One of the nights when May folded a tab on the wishing star, she afterward looked down to Ash who was at that time skipping rocks across a river. The camera then goes back to May, which she has a very anxious look on her face. Because of this scene, many AdvanceShippers believe that May's wish had something to do with Ash (the nature of the wish is never confirmed).
In this example, however, one must account for the fact that Max and Jirachi we
re skipping rocks with Ash, as well as nothing else was going on in the scene for her to look at. When she looks "anxious" after viewing the scene, this could just as well be sorrow, knowing her little brother and Jirachi have very few days left together and then they'll never see each other again. As she looked away from the scene, she looked back at her wishing star and viewed the final too leaflets, reminding her the week was coming to an end.
Movie #9:Destiny Deoxys
Ash tries to pick a fight with Tory Lund. In order to stop him, May throws her body on top of Ash and tells him to please stop. She places her hands on his shoulders and desperately tries to convince him to calm down. Ash is surprised with her action, and quickly says, "Oh-kay."
Movie #10:Lucario and the Mystery of Mew
Ash once again loses his cool and is mad at Lucario. May quickly rushes down into
the lake where Ash is standing and clutches his arm, trying to prevent him from getting himself in trouble. May holds onto him frantically until the situation is resolved. Afterward, May follows Ash around "mothering" him, telling him to get himself dry before he catches a cold.
Movie #11:Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea
As Ash and May go swimming with Manaphy, they continuously shoot glances at each other and smile. This is accompanied by a school of Luvdisc, Pokémon thought to symbolize love.
When Samiya was being flooded with water, Ash put May, Pikachu, and Manaphy in a capsule left behind by The Phantom, allowing them to survive should his plan to replace the crystal fail. May continued to pray for Ash's safety and was nearly driven to tears when she thought he wouldn't make it back. Manaphy sent May's prayers to Ash, and with these thoughts spurring him on, Ash recovered from his near-drown state and replaced the crystal, saving the Samiya.
After the Samiya is raised, May leaves the capsule, at the beginning thrilled that the temple is saved. (In the Japanese language version of the movie, she acknowledges that Satoshi is the one who saved the Temple by saying "This is Satoshi's doing, isn't it?") Her happiness, however, is quickly replaced by sadness with the fear that Ash hasn't returned. "It can't be..." she says. "No way..." Her joy returns as soon as Ash flies up out of the water and chases down Captain Phantom and saves the abducted Manaphy.
In the manga adaption of the movie, when May and Pikachu are unsure of whether or not Ash survived trying to save the Sea Temple, she clutches Pikachu and is tearing up, but still retains hope in Ash by saying, "Ash wouldn't leave us like this..."
(Hehehehe..... I dare you to check all of these if these are true. If you want....)
TRIVIA:
-They have both seen the same legendary Pokémon at different times:
Ho-Oh (Ash in EP001 and May in AG178)
Celebi (Ash in Celebi: Voice of the Forest and May in AG155)
-Both have owned a Bulbasaur and a Squirtle.
The relationship between their two Bulbasaur has extended to the point where a separate Shipping has been named for them: VineShipping.
-Ash has caught a Snorlax while May owns a Munchlax.
-Both have owned a fully evolved Bug/Flying Pokémon that evolved from the first Pokémon that they caught (Butterfree and Beautifly).
-Both have a fully-evolved Fire-type starter Pokémon from their home region (Charizard and Blaziken).
-Both have a fully-evolved Grass-type starter Pokémon from each other's region (Sceptile and Venusaur).
-Both have managed to use a Pokémon before catching them (Ash with Torkoal and May with Bulbasaur).
NOTE:If you want to ask me something, just say it to me. Or better yet, just post it in the comments section and I'll get it done ASAP. (E.g: If you want to see more pictures of them together, [Yes, I got like a mother lode of it.] then I can give you or post more pictures...)
VIDEOS
(an amv with the music of "You belong with me" by Taylor Swift)
Shipping is the short term for "relationshipping." It is the belief that two characters in the Pokémon universe are in a relationship, or have romantic feelings that could potentially lead to a relationship. It is generally used as a suffix attached to a word related to a pair of characters. Like in the real world, it is like pairing kim and gerald, thus forming the pairing of kimerald. Holding hands and blushing is often used to show attraction. IMPORTANT: I suggest you follow the blog archive from top to bottom. Because I was planning to make it in order. But this blog messed it all up and made what supposed to be first, the last entry in the bottom and vice versa. The blog archive can be found below this message.
